Moodagent profiles 3 Green River Ordinance songs – Come On, On Your Own and Rise Up

This week while attending the AT&T Music Service launch party at CTIA, I discovered a band called Green River Ordinance. I’d already heard some of their music over the radio and was pleasantly surprised at how many more songs they had in their repertoire. Here are 3 of their songs: “Come On”, “On Your Own” and “Rise Up” along with their mood profiles and the playlists Moodagent automatically created from my personal collection.

GRO 3 mood profiles

As you can see, GRO’s songs tend to favor aggression (purple) and a faster tempo (gray). “Come On” has the highest levels of Passion (red) and Happiness (yellow), while “On Your Own” has more tenderness (orange).

American Idol: Moodagent compares Crystal Bowersox and Janis Joplin Singing Me and Bobbie McGee

Crystal BowersoxThis week, American Idol contestant Crystal Bowersox performed Me and Bobbie McGee. Moodagent shows how — and how much — she changed the mood of the Janis Joplin hit. The mood profile shows that once again this week, Crystal’s cover has different settings for all 5 of the 5 sliders. She took down the passion (red) and happiness (yellow), and raised the tenderness (orange) and anger (purple). She also slowed the tempo (gray) way, way down – just as she did last week.
