Moodagent version 1.0.1 released; New version fixes occasional app crash on OS 3.0
Syntonetic is pleased to announce that the next release of Moodagent for iPhone users is now available in the iTunes App Store.
Some of you may have experienced application crashes. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Despite rigorous testing by our own experts, as well as by those at Apple, the issue was not discovered until after the app’s release into iTunes. This is certainly not up to Syntonetic standards, and we can assure you that we have been working tirelessly to resolve the issue.
Thanks to your feedback, we have been able to pinpoint a few factors that were leading to the crashes:
- The listener was running OS 3.0.
- Their library included tracks with no track name and/or no artist listed.
If you have given up on Moodagent, we urge you to give it another chance. Version 1.0.1 seeks to remedy the issue that was causing the crashes. If you have been experiencing crashes or you think you may fall into this category, please download the new version for an improved Moodagent experience.
For those of you who may not be familiar with app updates, we provided some simple steps to help:
- Touch the ‘App Store’ icon on your iPhone
- Touch the ‘Updates’ icon on the bottom right-hand side of the screen
- Touch the ‘Update’ button on the top right and your iPhone will proceed to download the next version
Note:You may be prompted to input your username and password.
Alternatively, you could download the update into iTunes on your desktop, and then sync your iPhone.
Syntonetic also wants to take a moment to thank you for your interest in the Moodagent app. Today marks Moodagent’s one-month anniversary in the iTunes App Store, and today we reached the 280,000 download mark, and we could not have done it without you. Once again, thank you for your support!
