Innovation at the Moodagent Lab

At the Moodagent Lab we experiment with and test new potential features for our product lines – or entirely new products and product lines. We are an agile bunch and tend to engage everyone from across our teams – the musicologists, the UXers, the software engineers and the OPS team – actively encouraging new ideas, outliners and out-of-the-boxers. We believe in innovation and ingenuity as the primary keys to maintaining our technological leadership, and go to great lengths to ensure this occurs. This includes pulling in outside innovation facilitators to get us to challenge our concepts, or flying everyone to Cannes for a weekend of charades.

An important part of our Lab work involves working with partners in academia and the research community. The Institute of Math Modeling at the Technical University in Lyngby, The Institute of Mathematics at the University of Copenhagen, The Deptartment of Computer Science at Glasgow University, The Max Planch Institute, The Hamilton Institute in Dublin have been and continue to contribute to our thinking. We welcome your suggestions for partnerships and collaborations.

The hottest Lab topics these days centers around playmakers, especially their presentation (e.g. haptic and gran-synthy) aspects and cross-platform interoperability, but also how to apply focus pulling and über-meta data logic to their auto-creation and auto-adjustment.

If this strikes a cord with you and you feel you can contribute, we’d love to hear from you …
